A picnic in the countryside
Kursunlu Nature Park and Waterfall is located about 18 km north of Antalya. The waterfall is idyllically embedded in a fantastically beautiful park. A circular path leads along the watercourse, which pours out in cascades. Its clear water shimmers turquoise in the sunlight and creates enchanting light effects in combination with the sunshine.
There are trout and char in the deeper parts, and turtles sunbathe on the surface. And with a bit of luck you can even see a kingfisher hunting. In spring, when the snowmelt in the Taurus Mountains causes the rivers to swell, the waterfall is particularly impressive.
In the summer, when there is not so much water, visitors also like to climb behind the curtain of water. The whirling water of the cascades provides a welcome refreshment, especially on hot days.
The shady park is a popular destination for tourists and locals, who often picnic here.
Note: The park has smaller shops and stalls selling snacks, drinks and ice cream.
