Set on a peninsula, Split is surrounded by historic towns and settlements.

During an interesting city tour you will explore the 4th century Diocletian's palace with its ancient cellars, the peristyle, Roman temples (now Christian), the cathedral, the baptistery and the famous Golden Gate. Use a little free time to stroll or for your very own discovery tour, until you continue towards Trogir - a small town that is under the cultural protection of UNESCO.

Trogir emerged from ancient Tragurion and is full of buildings and monuments that testify to its rich history. There is the cathedral with its famous portal by the well-known local master Radovan, the city loggia from the 15th century, the Cipiko palace, the town hall and the Benedictine monastery from 1064.
